West Chester Music – The Guitar Store

Dave, Aaron, and Dan Every guitar player needs a home base so to speak. A place where you can buy quality guitars, amps, effects, and all of the gadgets and accessories to go along with your love of music. A place where they know a ton about the guitar and are great to deal with. West Chester Music has been that place for me. Above from left to right are Dave (owner), Aaron, and Dan. Not only do they know “Guitar”, but they know how to play, and offer set ups, and service.

Over the last several years, I have bought several amps and guitars from the guys at West Chester Music. From the high end player to the beginner, they can help you find what you need. I bought a 52 and a 62 Fender Telecaster reissue from them along with a Taylor NS74CE nylon acoustic/electric. I also bought a beautiful used Gibson Custom Shop 58 Les Paul reissue that you can see me playing in pictures on my Facebook page. I will never forget the day that I walked in the store and saw the 58 Les Paul reissue I bought. They had just taken it in on a trade. As soon as I saw it hanging in the middle of the store, I knew that I had to have it. It was just like when Wayne in “Waynes World” walked into the guitar store and fell in love with a Fender Strat.

West Chester Music has a myriad of acoustics from Beedlove, Bourgeouis, Taylor, Collings, Santa Cruz, Guild, and McPherson. On the electric side you’ll find Guild, Fender, Tom Anderson, Collings, Music Man, Paul Reed Smith, Gretsch, Rickenbacker, Epiphone, and others. They have a lot of new guitars and also several used instruments.

West Chester Music is located at 310 S. High St., in downtown West Chest PA, and can be reached at 610-436-8641. If you are in the market for a new guitar or gear, stop by and tell them that Mark Salyers sent you…
